Gameplay Tips
These practical tips will help you make smarter decisions at the ron97 tables.
Two Aces give you two chances at blackjack. A pair of 8s totals 16 — the weakest hand possible. Split them to improve your odds.
Two 10-value cards give you a total of 20 — nearly perfect. Just stand and don't risk splitting them.
If your two-card total is 10 or 11, double down when the dealer shows a weak card (2–9). This is the optimal time to double your bet.
Insurance looks tempting when the dealer shows an Ace, but mathematically it's a poor bet for the average player over the long run.
Basic strategy is derived from probability mathematics. Apply it consistently to reduce the house edge to under 1%.
Decide how much you're prepared to lose before you sit down at a table. Once you hit that limit, walk away and try again another session.
Single or double-deck blackjack gives players a higher edge compared to 6 or 8-deck tables. Check the table rules before you sit down.
When the dealer stands on Soft 17 (Ace + 6), it gives players a slight edge over tables where the dealer is required to hit on Soft 17.

Blackjack Guide
Blackjack is one of the most widely played casino games in the world, and in Malaysia, the popularity of this card game continues to grow year on year. Unlike slots, which rely entirely on luck, blackjack is a game that blends chance with skill — and that's exactly what makes it so compelling. At ron97, the blackjack experience has been elevated with a wide range of table variations, professional live hosts, and cutting-edge streaming technology that lets Malaysian players enjoy a genuine casino atmosphere from the comfort of home.
The objective of blackjack is straightforward: get a card total closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. Number cards are worth their face value, face cards (J, Q, K) are worth 10, and an Ace can count as either 1 or 11 depending on the situation. When your first two cards add up to 21 — an Ace paired with a 10-value card — that's called a Natural Blackjack, and it typically pays 3:2. At ron97, the payout rates and rules for every blackjack variation are clearly displayed before you join a table.
One of the most compelling things about blackjack is that your decisions genuinely affect the outcome. When you consistently apply the correct basic strategy, the house edge can be reduced to under half a percent. That means for every RM100 wagered, you theoretically "lose" less than 50 sen to the house over the long run. For the Vegas Strip Blackjack table at ron97 with a 99.6% RTP, this is statistically one of the most favorable casino games you can play.
Ron97 offers over 20 blackjack variations to cater to every type of player. For those who prefer a classic experience, Classic Blackjack 21 with a standard deck is the perfect starting point. Vegas Strip Blackjack follows the rules used in the top casinos on the Las Vegas Strip — the dealer stands on Soft 17, players can double down on any two initial cards, and splitting is allowed up to three times. These player-friendly rules make Vegas Strip one of the most popular choices among serious players at ron97.
For players looking for something more exciting, Lightning Blackjack from Evolution Gaming is a must-try. Each round, a set of numbers is randomly selected, and if you win a hand containing any of those numbers, your payout multiplier can reach up to 25x your original bet. This adds an element of surprise that makes every round more thrilling, even when you're playing by standard basic strategy.
Infinite Blackjack is another hugely popular innovation at ron97. Unlike traditional blackjack tables limited to 7 seats, Infinite Blackjack allows an unlimited number of players to join the same table simultaneously. All players receive the same hand — based on two cards dealt to everyone at once — but each player is free to make their own Hit, Stand, Double, or Split decisions independently. This means you never have to wait for an open seat — you can join at any time.
The VIP Blackjack tables at ron97 are designed for premium players seeking a more exclusive experience. With betting limits ranging from RM200 to RM50,000 per hand, VIP tables offer a more refined atmosphere, highly skilled personal hosts, and a personalised level of service. Ron97 Gold and Diamond VIP members enjoy priority access to these tables, along with exclusive bonuses and higher withdrawal limits.
On the payments front, ron97 supports all major payment methods used by Malaysians. You can deposit via Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay, DuitNow QR, or through FPX internet banking services such as Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks. The minimum deposit is just RM20, making blackjack at ron97 accessible to players of all backgrounds. Winnings are processed within 15 to 30 minutes for regular members, and even faster for VIP members.
If you're new to blackjack, ron97 has you covered with a comprehensive guide and low-limit tables to practise on. Start with Classic Blackjack at the RM10 minimum, take your time learning the basic strategy chart, and gradually move up the stakes as your confidence grows. Remember — blackjack is a long-term game. Patience and discipline matter more than luck alone. With the right approach and ron97 by your side, your blackjack experience will be all the more rewarding.
